Friday “Keeper of the Reaper” Funny

Okay, so I’ve been on a “Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy” kick.

Sorry, but that show is hysterical.

And I’ve kinda been needing the laughs.

But that’s a different story.

Anyway, the last time I posted a “Billy and Mandy” Funny, I mentioned Fred Fredburger.

And I’d said Fred Fredburger was a Funny for another time.

This is that ‘another time.’

In this cartoon, Billy and Mandy get into a custody battle over Grim. And Fred Fredburger is one of the jurors.

Kills me every time.

My favorite part is the bit with the gavel.

No, you have to watch it to know what I’m talking about.

“Fred Fredburger, Fred Fredburger, Fred Fredburger, Fred Fredburger, Fred Fredburger….” Infinity!

You have to click the link to watch the cartoon, but it is sooooo worth it!

The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy – Keeper of the Reaper

Enjoy! And Happy Friday!

Another little note

Hi. Me again.

First of all, have you figured it out yet?

If you have, well, I guess, don’t cast a disparaging eye. I meant what I said. And I’ve written several posts about him in the past, right here on the blog. So. You know. Go play detective.

And, you know, don’t overthink any of it. Leave that to me.

I suppose I’m just confused.

Yeah, like that. Exactly.

I’ve got some things in the works for the blog, in future. It’s just, I’ve just been working on my story during much of my free time. So while I won’t go so far as to say I’ve been neglecting the blog, well, the blog has fallen by the wayside. To a degree.

But don’t worry. I’m still here.

Ever since I did that video, I’ve been thinking about what else I could do for more video posts in the future. Just so you’re aware.

But the written posts will continue as well.

And, I dunno. We’ll go from there.

And that’s about it for now.

I’ll try to do better next post.

Friday “Clowns!” Two-fer Funny

Well, I figured I had to make up for such a raw week.

And, yeah, it really has been a raw week.

I apologize once again for that post on Tuesday. That sort of wiped me out. I’ve been sort of ‘blah’ ever since. Somewhat depressed.

But I’m not taking any of it back. Once again, I meant every word of it. I do love that man.

I started my job yesterday. That made up for it in many ways. It’s going to be great, even if it’s only for one month (yeah, this is a one month assignment, but with the possibility of extension). And, yes, Elvie and younger Michelle do still work there, so it was great to see them again, and to be able to work with them again.

But today’s Funnies are even better than all that.

Today’s Funnies are a good indication as to my sense of humor. In that, these little bits will never get old!

Youngest Brother and I were huge fans of “The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy” when it was on Cartoon Network. Unfortunately, it is no longer on the air, but it was great while it lasted!

And today’s Funnies were a couple of the best bits of the whole entire series. Aside from Fred Fredburger….oooh, but that’s another Funny for another time! tee hee.

Anyway. Both of today’s Funnies are from an episode called “Attack of the Clowns.”

I’ve posted a variation of this first Funny before; it was one of my first Friday Funnies. In this Funny, Billy is deathly afraid of clowns. And you learn Mandy has a fear as well….

And I’ll just let Billy, Mandy, and Grim take it from here.

And I had almost completely forgotten about this bit, also featured in the same episode:

Too funny!!!!

Enjoy! And Happy Friday!

Back to work (tomorrow)

So. Yesterday’s post was a bit raw. I’m sorry about that. But I meant it. Every word. So. Make of that what you will. And I’ll just go from there with it, I guess. I mean, nothing will come of it. But….you never know.

Okay, so, in the never-ending employment saga of Mouse….

Back in December, I was hired on at a local utility company through a local temp agency, to assist with accounting and billing. Do you remember?

That assignment was supposed to last through April 2017, with the possibility of extension.

Well? At the start of this month (February 2nd, to be exact), the utility company ended my temporary assignment with them.

Which came as a complete surprise to me. Because I thought everything was going really well. I had a handle on the “Hi/Lows,” and I had just received training in setting up Landlord Agreements (long process, that, and an equally long story).

So, yeah, I thought everything was going really well.

But apparently, the company had finally gotten a lot of their backlog caught up, and the remaining backlog would be workable with the staff they currently had. So they ended a lot of temporary assignments on that day.

And mine was one of them.

So. Royal bummer.

So for the past two weeks or so, I’ve been unemployed. Again. Why I didn’t mention that until this point in time….well, I don’t really know.

But anyway.

Last week, I got a phone call from the local temp agency again, with a possible new assignment.

It would be a records-type position, involving pulling active and inactive files, and scanning and indexing them. For the company to go paperless, basically.

Guess where this assignment is going to be at?

Remember the local insurance company I worked for before I moved out of state last year?

Yeah! That company!

I was thrilled at that, because I already know their imaging system (provided they haven’t changed it in the year I’ve been gone). And it’s at the location in nearby Hiawatha….where Elvie and younger Michelle both work (or still work there, hopefully). Do you remember my talking about Elvie and younger Michelle? So I might get to see them again.

So. Score!

I start tomorrow. My work hours are 8:00 to 4:30.

Unfortunately, the insurance company is not looking for full-time candidates as, according to my former supervisor Diane, they recently had a workforce reduction, and so were not looking to fill any full-time positions any time soon.

But still, this could lead to another permanent position within the company.

It did last time, remember? (When I went from the temporary administrative assistant to the full-time records specialist.)

We’ll see how it goes, I guess.

I can’t wait to get back to work!

(No, I am very happy to be getting back to work, but this picture is just funny, so I’m using it.)

The Tell-Tale Heart On Her Sleeve

So. I actually taped this yesterday, but I’m posting it today as, like I said, it’s Valentine’s Day. Which is appropriate.

I did this in one take. Thought about taping it again, to try to do it better, but when I watched it again, I realized it stood well enough as it is. So what you see is what you get. It’s not perfect (I think the shaking of the picture at times is because of the strong winds from yesterday, which basically went through the walls of my room), but it’ll have to do.

And I mean every word I say. I love this man.

And I suppose there’s no reason to be shy about this.

The title of both the video and the blog post? Big giveaway.

So, you know….

….now you know.

Friday “Bunny Rabbits” Funny

I know it’s waaay too early for Easter, but this couldn’t wait.

Back in the day, my siblings and I were huge fans of the Saturday morning cartoon show “Garfield and Friends.” It featured the great Lorenzo Music as the voice of Garfield. Of course, the Garfield cartoons were the best ones.

There were also U.S. Acres cartoons, which we really weren’t big fans of.

But some of the U.S. Acres cartoons were pretty funny.

Like today’s Funny.

Unfortunately for it, the title gives the joke away.

But it’s hysterical all the same. And Wade was always my favorite character of the U.S. Acres bunch, anyway.

You have to click the link to watch the video, but it’s so worth it.

U.S. Acres – “The Bunny Rabbits Is Coming”

(Though I just realized they changed it from “U.S. Acres” to “Orson’s Farm.” Odd, that; it was originally “U.S. Acres,” so that’s what I’ll continue to call it.)

Enjoy! And Happy Friday!
