Love the harmonies of this song. The Mamas and the Papas were good at that.
So the Oscars were last night.
Anybody watch them?
That’s okay. I didn’t, either.
But I did have my mental picks for winners. And I went four out of six! I was right on Best Picture, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Supporting Actress. I really didn’t have a pick for Best Supporting Actor (too many good ones, though I was leaning more towards Mark Ruffalo) or Best Director (anyone would work in that category).
I think Alicia Vikander, of all of them, was the surest award lock, because she not only won for “The Danish Girl,” she won for “Ex Machina,” too. “Ex Machina” was amazing! She should have been nominated for that movie instead of “The Danish Girl,” in my opinion. She still would have won.
And it’s Leap Year today! Happy Leap Year!
Click here to see today’s Google Doodle. It’s so cute!
The weather is going to turn colder here in IA. And snowy by tomorrow! Well, technically, it is still winter, so we’ve got to anticipate just a bit more snow.
Johnny and I Skyped twice this past week! We’re really getting the hang of Skyping. It’s really fun!
Not much more to say at the moment.
Well, ’tis Monday, after all.
