We need a Funny for this week, ’cause it’s been quite a week.
This should deliver. This was a cartoon series on Cartoon Network called “Chowder.” It was about a kid named Chowder, who is apprenticed to a chef named Mung Daal, featuring daily escapades in and out of the kitchen. The voice cast was stellar (including Dwight Schultz as Mung), and the series as a whole was pretty good.
This particular episode features two cartoons – “Burple Nurples” and “Shnitzel Makes a Deposit.” In “Burple Nurples,” Chowder is cooking on his own for the first time….and mistakenly poisons the dish. In “Shnitzel Makes a Deposit,” well, it’s exactly what it sounds like. Who hasn’t experienced this at a bank before?
And, yes, Shnitzel only speaks in varying forms of “Rada.” That’s what I love about Shnitzel. Because most times, you understand him perfectly.
It’s pretty funny.
The video format is different, but not so distracting that you can’t watch it. And I don’t know why the video is half an hour. The episode only runs about 22 minutes total, so you don’t have to watch the remaining minutes after the 22 minute mark if you don’t want to. So. Just an FYI.
Many thanks to Youtube user Connor Dickens for the video. Watch it while you can.
Enjoy! And Happy Friday!
