Mini-tidbits, plus another questionnaire

It’s rainy and muggy out today.

It must be the weather that’s making me so talkative.

And daring. I am going through my entire portfolio of writing, to see if there are pieces I can clean up and turn in to….wait for it….writing contests! I know! Must be the weather, but I really want to try. And I’ll never know until I try, right?

So. That’s the next big frontier for Mouse. Writing competitions.

It’s hard for me to justify, I guess. I’ve said publishing isn’t the ultimate goal, yet I wouldn’t mind it. I don’t know.

Let me put it this way – I wouldn’t mind trying.

I came up with a new short, what you would call ‘flash,’ fiction piece today. I called it “Understanding.” It’d be better if you were to read it than to have me explain it. I won’t post it yet. I think it’s finished, though, but I want to read through it again tomorrow to be sure. So.

Other than that, nothing is really going on.

So here’s another questionnaire. It’s a long one. Feel free to take it and use it on your own blog or Facebook feed or whatever.
