I know, I know. What am I doing up so late??
Well, I’ve got some thinking to do, that’s all.
*shrug* It’s a long story. And only slightly depressing, but that’s neither here nor there.
And only slightly has to do with my want-to-do-video-segments, which I’ve talked about.
Seriously. Ask me anything. Even if it’s been answered already, and like I said no matter how small or trivial it may seem. Just go ahead. Spread the word. I’d like to try the videos, so. Maybe just to break out of my shell a little bit more, you know?
To tide you over for the weekend, here’s another questionnaire, asked and answered, because I’m such a sucker for these things. I don’t remember where I found this, only that it’s been on my disk for a long time now, so these questions all feature updated answers, so.
How tall are you?
~ I am 5 feet, 4.5 inches tall. So you can either round up or round down. Convenient.
Do you have a hidden talent and if so, what?
~ I can cry on command, to a degree. Might take me a couple minutes, but I could do it.
What is your biggest blog-related pet peeve?
~ I don’t really have one in or about any other blogger. My pet peeve is with myself, and how I can’t seem to come up with responses to the kind comments people leave me.
What is your biggest non-blog-related pet peeve?
~ People standing or sitting behind me and/or reading over my shoulder. It’s the writer in me.
What’s your favorite song?
~ At the moment? Too many to say. Of all time? Won’t tell just yet.
What’s your favorite Etsy shop?
~ I just love Etsy. There’s no one particular shop I like – I love them all.
Etsy is where I got my Elsa keychain; that way, I carry Elsa with me everywhere I go.
I also got Youngest Brother’s Christmas present from a store on Etsy. It’s a cool Zelda Triforce lamp, pictured below. He calls it his ‘beacon’ now, which is really sweet. 🙂
What’s your favorite way to spend your free time when you’re alone?
~ Writing and listening to music. Or watching movies. Or cleaning. It all depends.
What’s your favorite junk food?
~ Skittles. No question.
Do you have a pet or pets?
~ Yes. I have one cat, Nuala, and one parakeet, Little Blue. Older Sister, who now lives with us, has two cats, Camille and Teag, and one dog, Jasper. So that’s five pets under one roof. Oy.
What are your number one favorite non-fiction and fiction books?
~ Favorite fiction book = The Language of Goldfish, by Zibby O’Neal. Favorite non-fiction book = Assassination Vacation, by Sarah Vowell. Favorite author and poet = Sylvia Plath.
What’s your favorite beauty product?
~ I’m no beauty queen by any stretch, but I found a line of products known as Simple a couple years ago, and I haven’t had any major breakouts or trouble with my face since I started using it. So I love Simple. And Older Sister sells BeautiControl, so I would remiss if I didn’t mention BeautiControl. Their lip balm has been a life saver, and I can wear their makeup without breaking out.
When were you last embarrassed and what happened?
~ I can’t remember. No, I honestly can’t remember.
If you could only drink one beverage (besides water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
~ Either milk or juice. Wish I could do without soda; what a battle that’s been.
What’s your favorite movie?
What were you in high school: prom queen, nerd, cheerleader, jock, valedictorian, band geek, loner, artist prep etc?
~ A combination of loner, nerd, artist prep, and band geek. But mostly loner.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live?
~ Seattle, Washington. Dunno why.
PC or Mac?
~ Uh, PC. I think. I don’t think I’ve ever used a Mac. My uncle Larry has a Mac (I think), and he swears by it.
Last romantic gesture from a crush, date, boyfriend/girlfriend?
~ He held my hand.
Favorite actress ever is Sissy Spacek. Favorite actor ever is Nicolas Cage.
Oh, I got a new look. Well, new year, new look.
This look is versatile.
I can wear it either flat-ironed….:
….or in a curly q:
Yeah, I got it cut short. Well, I felt like it, that’s all. It feels better, not as fine and stringy.
And I like the curly q look better than the flat-iron look, so.
What do you think?
