Merry Christmas to all!

From me to you, I wish you all a Merry Christmas.

With some music.

~ Wendy and Lisa, “The Closing of the Year” (from the “Toys” soundtrack; appropriate)

~ Amy Grant, “Breath of Heaven” (Just because.)

~ Alvin and the Chipmunks, “The Christmas Song” (An oldie, but it never gets old.)

~ The McKenzie Brothers (Bob and Doug), “The Twelve Days of Christmas” (Grew up with this album, and it is still hilarious after all these years.)

~ John Denver and the Muppets, “When the River Meets the Sea” (Grew up with this album, too; the song originally appeared in “Emmet Otter’s Jug-band Christmas,” plus it’s my favorite.)

~ Trans-Siberian Orchestra, “Christmas Eve/Sarajevo 12/24” (Because what is Christmas without a little electric guitar?)

~ Mannheim Steamroller, “Silent Night” (Mannheim Steamroller is classic as well.)

And, of course, my most favorite Christmas song ever….

~ John Lennon, “Happy Xmas (War is Over)” (‘Nuff said, though the story is worth repeating.)

Have a Merry Christmas, everyone!
