30 Day Song Challenge – Day 29

Today’s Challenge is to post a song from your childhood.

Ooo, easy. This song was my jam the summer I was five years old. I only knew it was a happy sounding song. Not so now, but, you know, that’s what growing up does. It still takes me back to that summer. We were living in the cul-de-sac in Georgia, and we’d ride our bikes with the other kids, and we played on the neighbors’ Slip-and-Slide, and we caught the snapping turtle under the yellow bucket, and of course we had the tire swing in our backyard. Good times.

From their 1983 album “Colour By Numbers,” this is Culture Club with “Karma Chameleon.”
