Friday ‘Three Musketeers – with a twist’ Funny

Remember that book questionnaire yesterday? I’ve actually decided on a desert island book! It’s called The 3 A.M. Epiphany by Brian Kiteley. That way, one could write their own stories and make up their own desert library! How cool would that be?!? (I do own a lot of writing how-to books, among them The 3 A.M. Epiphany.)

The weather’s wacky here in Iowa (it was in the mid-50s yesterday, after starting out in the teens!), and I’ve got that late-winter cold that’s been going around. Knocked Youngest Brother out last week, and now Mom and I both have it. Mom has sick time at work, but I’m just a temp at my job, so I really can’t get sick! I mean, I could – I’d just have to work on Wednesday. So it’s actually good that this is starting now, so I have the weekend to deal with it.

Oh well.

On to the weekly shameless plug:

Become one of the chosen. Join the mercurial stranger, DJ Mozo, in The Seventh House tonight, 8 to 10:30 pm EST, on Tenacity Radio. It is the best music not heard on radio, nor anywhere else. Featuring a DJ who is always stupidly happy and is living an extraordinary life (his words, not mine; and according to him, there are song titles referenced in that sentence). If you choose to join in the chat, just look for me, Mouse.

Now, on to the Funny.

My siblings and I only saw this Muppet special (“The Muppets Go To The Movies”) once. Only once. But, wouldn’t you know, this is the sketch we remember – and quote – the most. It’s a tribute to “The Three Musketeers.” Gonzo, Scooter, and Link Hogthrob play the hapless heroes….with a twist. Oh, what mayhem shall ensue….

Try and say that ten times fast!

Actually, my siblings and I can….but not that fast. And not without giggling, either.

Enjoy! And Happy Friday!
